Special Presentation: Falmouth300 Update and Legacy Projects
Join us for an update on all the planning, events, and activities related to Falmouth’s 300th anniversary in 2018. PLUS, learn how several community organizations are commemorating this mile-stone event to create legacy projects that will enrich our community for years to come.
Speakers:
- Erin Bishop-Cadigan, Tercentennial Coordinator, will provide an update and discuss two legacy projects: Interpretive Panels at Town Landing and the Tercentennial Garden Project.
- Andi Jackson-Darling, Director, Falmouth Memorial Library, will update you on the Library expansion project which breaks ground in 2018.
- Theo Holtwijk, Director of Long-Range Planning/Economic Development, Town of Falmouth, will share an exciting project to restore and interpret a historic town mural.
- Jeannie Madden, Programming Librarian, Falmouth Memorial Library will introduce the Falmouth Cooperative Volunteer Committee, a working group born from the collaborative efforts of Falmouth non-profits in marking the 300th.
